A U.K. qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Allan has lived for over ten years in the Albayzín district of Granada with his wife and eight-year old daughter, who was born in Spain.

A fluent Spanish speaker, Allan has a First Class Hons. Degree in Spanish and French (University of Kent 1999) and a Masters Degree in Applied Language Studies (University of Kent 2001).

Allan and his wife moved to Spain at the end of 2001 after a five-year love affair with Granada. For the last four of those five years they maintained a small rented apartment in the Albayzín to which they would escape whenever possible.

As well as helping others to find and create their dream homes, Allan has bought and renovated several properties, both in the old Arab quarter of Granada and in the countryside of Andalusia.
