The House
One of the property's most distinctive features is its beautiful internal balcony overlooking a glass-covered atrium. This unusual feature allows natural light to flood into the centre of the house, creating a bright and airy atmosphere throughout.
The main entrance is through a large, solid wooden door leading into the entrance hall. To the right is access to a large cellar, providing excellent storage space.
A step up leads into the comfortable L-shaped living area, with stairs to the first floor and access to the dining room. The living space is particularly bright thanks to the central atrium and features a wood-burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings.
The room also includes a charming stone-built table, access to the kitchen and double doors leading to a small private courtyard situated within an open light well.
The open-plan kitchen has a breakfast bar separating it from the dining area. The dining room also benefits from its own wood-burning stove, making this a lovely space for family meals and entertaining. A convenient cloakroom with WC and wash basin is located just off the kitchen.
First Floor
The first floor opens onto a spacious landing featuring the attractive internal balcony, with the glass-covered atrium below providing plenty of natural light.
From the landing there is access to four bedrooms and the family bathroom. Three of the bedrooms are comfortable doubles and each has its own Juliet balcony, allowing fresh air and views of the surrounding village. One of the double bedrooms also benefits from a large built-in wardrobe.
There is also a single bedroom, making the property particularly versatile for families, guests or anyone wanting additional office or hobby space.
The family bathroom is fully tiled and includes a corner shower and skylight, providing plenty of natural light.
From the landing, stairs lead to a useful storage area and onwards to the property's large roof terrace.
Roof Terrace
The roof terrace is a fantastic feature of the property and provides generous outdoor space for enjoying the Alpujarran climate. There are beautiful views across the village and surrounding mountains, together with a traditional stone-built barbecue, making it an ideal place for outdoor dining, entertaining friends or simply relaxing in the sunshine.
