This magnificent country estate is exactly what our agency is named for: another way of life. A way of life from the past, slower, richer yet possessing all modern comforts. Here the 24 hectares of land are still carefully worked, producing bountiful harvests of almonds, olives and grapes and life in the four houses possesses bygone charm and spaciousness in equal measure. This is no soulless executive mansion but the delightful renovation of a traditional wine producing cortijada done with vision, care and attention to detail. Doors, windows and rejas have been sourced from various parts of Andalucia so that where the originals were no longer usable their substitutes were totally in keeping. The result is a genuinely historic building that sits harmoniously within, rather than dominates, its beautiful surroundings.
