Description

Spectacular, spacious and bright luxury home with a total of six en-suite bedrooms, set out in 2 three bedroom houses sharing a large heated swimming pool and patio and with 360-degree views over the Lecrin Valley. Part renovation of traditional village houses and part new construction, each house has covered dining areas and various terraces with long views across the Lecrin Valley to the mountains beyond. The property has the added convenience of a spacious garage suitable for 4 cars with electric door. Situated in the village of Pinos del Valle, a tranquil village with all the local amenities one requires, it is only a 30-minute drive from both the historic city of Granada and Costa Tropical.

The layout of the property lends itself to a lifestyle whereby the owner's family can occupy a luxurious home, either as a holiday retreat or permanent residence, whilst benefiting from the income of letting the second house.

Entering the property from the street, there is a large entranceway which to the left has a boiler room for the oil central heating alongside a modern cloakroom toilet. To the right, a large double glass door leads to the main house (House 1), whilst straight ahead is the entranceway to the pool and covered patio, from which the guest accommodation (House 2) can be accessed. The two houses are completely independent.

HOUSE 1

The main house, a former mill, was fully renovated three years ago to a modern yet traditional finish, throughout. The four-storey house is accessed through attractive lockable glass doors which open onto a fully fitted kitchen in immaculate condition with breakfast bar, a large dining room with access to a large private terrace and a door to the lower terrace. A locally crafted spiral staircase with hardwood treads leads downstairs to two double en-suite bedrooms, both of which have access via double doors to an outside terrace. On the first floor there is a further double en-suite bedroom with full-length windows and a large living room with its own terrace and stunning views over the local vineyards of the Lecrin Valley. On the top floor there is another living area currently used as a study room with access to a covered dining area with views across the valley and a terrace with views over the attractive narrow street.

HOUSE 2

The guest accommodation, 3 storeys tall, enjoys security and privacy while retaining the charm of an Andalusian village house. On the ground floor there is a covered outside dining area beside the pool, a living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen and en-suite bedroom. All of the ground floor rooms are light and airy as they give onto the pool patio. The first floor, accessed from a traditional tiled staircase, has a double bedroom and the master bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms and built-in wardrobes. The second floor comprises of a large lounge/study, which could be converted into additional bedroom accommodation if required, with access to a wrap around roof level terrace with extensive views over the pool and across the valley over orange groves.

Patio

Located in the enclosed patio is a lozenge-shaped pool of approximately 10 metres x 2.5 metres which can be heated using the the central heating boiler, ideal for extending its use beyond the summer months.

Garage

Unusual for a village house, the property has a four car garage with remote door opening.

No expense has been spared in developing this luxury home. All of the fittings are of the highest quality. The windows are all double glazed with security closures. There is central heating in all areas, ceiling fans and a water softening system is installed.

All mains services are installed and the houses are ready to move into with no work or maintenance required.
