Description

Recently built farmhouse of 200 m2 and a second house perfect for guest accommodation, in an internal enclosure of 12.000 m2 with fruit trees, a vineyard, a vegetable garden of 1.000 m2 and a garden leading from the main house down to the filtered and purified water deposit. This productive farm, with equestrian facilities, is set on 26 hectares of land and is situated in the natural park of Aracena, 6 kms from the village of Alajar and 20 kms from the buzzing town of Aracena.

The property is located in an area of the estate which is a real delight to look at, with no neighbours nearby, in total contact with nature. Recently built in 2010, the spacious main house of 200 m2 is laid out over two floors and has been tastefully finished with exquisite stone and wood features, wooden beams and terracotta tiles to create a charming and comforting homey feel. On the ground floor are two living areas. The main living room is complete with a fireplace and has an integrated, fully equipped kitchen. The other is currently used as a library, from where you can access a porch with beautiful views. Also on this floor are two bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, and there is also a toilet for the second bedroom and living areas. The upper floor has a lovely mezzanine / attic design with an open passageway that overlooks the living room below. On this floor are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. All the details have been carefully taken care of, with excellent qualities and rustic design.

Approximately 200 metres away is the the guest or caretaker's house. It consists of a living room with fireplace, two bedrooms, a kitchen and one bathroom.

Outside, within a stone wall which contains an area of 12.000 m2, is an oasis which includes the main house and garden area, a porch with vine arbour and a barbecue with an outside kitchen, perfect for al fresco dining on warm summer nights. Also within this enclosed oasis is the second house, fruit trees, vineyards, a vegetable garden of 1.000 m2 surrounded by an old stone wall and a garden leading down to the filtered and purified water deposit.

The property has a well with abundant water and mains electricity, brought to the property underground to avoid any visual impact with the landscape.

The farm is located in a wonderful spot of pastureland, surrounded by holm oaks, cork oaks and broom. Apart from the potential for rural tourism, it has other, various possibilities for income. The farm produces about 250 quintals of cork and has capacity for 22 Iberian pigs as well as equestrian facilities (4 boxes for horses), different areas for workshops and storage, a pig pen and a hen house.

The property adjoins with a riverbank at one of its boundaries and is a real paradise for nature lovers who are looking for quality, good taste and to get out into nature, away from near neighbours.

The farm is located 6 km from the village of Alájar, 20 km from the main hub of Aracena, just 40 km from Portugal, 90 km from Seville and another 90 km to the coast of Huelva.
