Description

The hamlet is quite secluded and has a population of mixed nationalities and a nice community feel. It is only a 15 minute drive from Ugijar, the nearest small town. Ugijar has shops, restaurants, health centre, petrol station etc.

The property itself is a three/four bedroom end of terrace house with masses of character and an eclectic mix of styles and furniture. On approaching the house, to the left and down a few steps is a beautiful private covered terrace, surrounded by greenery, a great place to chill out and relax. Through iron gates is a walled, paved garden at the front of the property. To the left is a small storeroom housing the gas water boiler, washing machine and having shelves for storage.

Through the main entrance is the dinning/kitchen, a room full of character, with beamed ceiling, Alpujarran style stone built units and cupboards. A long dining table, Moroccan lighting, various hanging racks and shelves add to the rustic feel.

Up a few steps is a central living area, with beautiful chestnut beamed ceiling and a fuel-efficient wood burner. The rooms on this level are accessed from here; to the right is a double bedroom with wrought iron bed and freestanding furniture. A door leads out to a sunny, walled courtyard with traditional style floor tiles. There is a cosy snug with wood burner in one corner, perfect for winter nights. To the left is a smaller double bedroom, also steps that lead down to the spacious bathroom having a bathtub with shower over, wc and a stone built vanity unit with wash basin.

A feature stairwell leads up to a large bright, open room the width of the property, having wooden floorboards and a lovely bank of windows offering views of the valley. The stairwell also leads to another light and airy double bedroom again with wrought iron bed and freestanding furniture. A further large room, currently used for storage could easily make a fourth bedroom.

The current owner has a tourism licence for rental purposes, which should the new owner wish to also rent the proprety out it would not be too hard to apply for a name change.

The property has connection to mains services and is sold furnished.
