Two of the bedrooms are arranged as a suite and share a lounge with woodburner and balcony.

Building 2:  on the ground floor of this building is the hammam with heated marble floors and two pools, one hot and one temperate. On the first floor is a large wood-fired oven, useful for cooking for large numbers of friends, housed in a complete outdoor kitchen area, and the serene chapel.

Building 3:  on the ground floor there is a dining room with open-plan kitchen, toilet, 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and with separate access to the outside. On the first floor there is a very large multi-purpose space with wooden floor which could be an artists's studio, a yoga space, a seminar room etc. This room measures 87 m2 and has toilet facilities.

Outside there are numerous patios and terraces and the buildings are set in mature gardens. To one side of the main building there is a swimming pool with magnificent views. There is also an extensive vegetable garden and a stable.There is heating throughout the property via efficient, low consumption electric heaters and the domestic water and hammam are heated by a very economic biomass burner which was only recently installed. Access is via an excellent hard track approximately 1.5 kms long easily accessible in ordinary cars.


Mains electricity is installed and the property has its own water supply via a well which also feeds a drip irrigating system to irrigate the garden. Broadband internet is installed.


Set in an idyllic rural location, the cortijo is within 40 mins of Granada airport and 50 mins of the historic city centre. Malaga and its airport are only one hour away, the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada can be reached in 1 hour and 20 mins and the beaches of the Costa Tropical in slightly less.
