Description

This built 51m² one bedroom cortijo with 4134 m² land is in a private location overlooking the town of Albunol and the coast. It is accessible from both the direction of Albunol or Murtas.

The property is finished to a high standard, has all electric sockets, light switches and wiring fitted but requires mains or a solar system installing and needs a kitchen fitting. The property is constructed of high quality building materials.

The access from the direction of Murtas is easier than from Albunol, being mainly tarmac and a reasonable condition track. On arrival at the property there are double wrought iron gates leading to a gravel drive that allows parking to the front, side and rear of the house.

To the front of the cortijo is a walled and tiled terrace with a pergola over. The terrace extends to the right side of the property where there is a stone built out door kitchen consisting of barbeque, pizza/bread oven and preparation area. There is also a storage room with traditional porcelain sink and plumbing for a water boiler.

The main traditional style wooden entrance door leads into an open plan living, dining, kitchen area with double doors out to the front terrace. The living, dining area is half tiled and has an open fireplace. The kitchen is fully tiled. A door leads through to a tiled shower room with shower, wc, bidet and washbasin.

A spiral staircase gives access to the bedroom, which has built in cupboards and windows to the front and rear, allowing a lot of natural light and giving wonderful views of the mountains and the sea.

The property has mains water connected, concealed sceptic tank and all windows and doors have security grills and shutters, making it perfect as a lock up and leave holiday home or a permanent residence. The surrounding land is planted with almond trees.

The owner is willing to install a photovoltaic system for the full asking price.

The details listed above are believed to be correct but are offered merely as a guide and do not form part of any future contract. If you are unfamiliar with buying property in Spain you may wish to read our guide to the buying procedure.
As in all countries there are further costs incurred when purchasing a property which are not included in the price stated above. These are the purchase tax, buyer's share of agency commission, notary and registry. Together these constitute approximately 11% in Andalucia, 13% in Extremadura and 14% in the Comunidad de Valencia. Please remember to take account of this when budgeting.
