The electricity supply comes 100% from renewable energy thanks to the seven solar panels, and the lighting, heating and air conditioning systems have been selected for their low energy consumption.

The communal areas of the hotel comprise an air-conditioned dining room with fireplace, a pleasant living room with fireplace and library with exposed stone walls and an exclusive spa. A separate hut of 32 m2, roofed and semi-enclosed, offers a versatile space for seminars, retreats, etc.

Surrounded by orange trees in a picturesque rural setting where the Guadiaro River runs through the lush green valley, guests can simply enjoy relaxing by the swimming pool or in the gardens in hammocks and sun loungers or enjoy one of the hotel's services: a sauna, jacuzzi, massage or clay bath with magnesium salts and essential oils. Alternatively, the surrounding area also offers many opportunities for adventurous nature lovers to go kayaking, cycling, hiking or even canyoning, in the impressive Buitreras Canyon.

The property is located in the heart of the Alcornocales Natural Park by the banks of the Guadiaro River on the very outskirts of the town of El Colmenar. El Colmenar, like some of the other white-washed villages in the Serrania de Ronda in Malaga, enjoys a mild climate and so makes a superb location for a rural tourism business.
