Description

Charming traditional cortijo located in a tranquil setting. The cortijo itself measures 120 m2 but attached to it and accessible from within is an open barn of the same size which could be converted into accommodation (subject to permission). It would also make a phenomenal artists studio with space for large canvasses, installations, light systems, cameras etc.

Outside there are two lovely seating or dining areas, one covered with tiled roof, the other covered with creepers. The perfect place to sit on a hot afternoon. The patio area is decorated with bushes and plants in earthenware pots and there is a small polyester pool.

At the far end of the compound there are four dog kennels, a pigeon loft and space within the paved area for a pool (subject to permission).

There are 17 hectares of land, all of it rocky mountainside levelling off to a plateau. The land is fully fenced and the current owners keep a small sheep herd which lives off the hillside grass. The owners keep the sheep trough filled with water from the well. Apart from this the sheep take care of themselves. There is a small orchard with drip-feed irrigation and two small plots formerly used for vegetables.

At the end of the paved area there is a gate which gives onto the mountainside. Climbing up a rocky path leads to a crude vantage point with table and chairs offering panoramic views.

Included in the price is everything apart from photos of the family and a few personal possessions. All of the furniture, interior and exterior is included as is the crockery, cutlery, linen etc. and the old agricultural implements on the outside walls.

This is an opportunity to move in and change your lifestyle. Peace, quiet, a wonderful setting with broadband internet available and the town only two kilometres away.
