Description

This two storey detached house is in a private location but has all the advantages of being situated close to the white washed village of Berchules. The village is only five minutes walk away and offers a variety of amenities, grocery stores, café bars, doctor, school etc.

The property is set in 3,400m² of good arable land having irrigation water rights. Easy access is via a short track and there is parking at the property as well as close by. The solidly built house could be lived in now or is perfect for modernization and possibly reconfiguring. The main entrance is at first floor level and leads into a bright corridor. To the left is a kitchen/ dining room with basic fitted units and an open fire. To the right are two double bedrooms, one having built in shelving/storage, a family bathroom and a storeroom housing the hot water boiler.

The ground floor has one large open room, easily enough space for a lounge/ kitchen/ diner, and another smaller one, both have floor tiles and just require a small amount of cosmetic work to finish. This floor is independent to the first floor so could be used as a separate apartment or the addition of a staircase could open up the whole house. A covered terrace runs the length of the property at this level and there is also a small bathroom, in need of completion that would make an ideal ensuite for the ground floor.

The land has a variety of fruit, olive and almond trees and a small casita that would make a lovely summerhouse or garden store. As previously mentioned there is irrigation water plus a spring water.

The property is connected to mains water, electricity and drainage.

Please remember to take account of this when budgeting.
