Description

Two-Bedroom Cortijo with Almond Grove and Valley Views near Mecina Bombarón

This charming detached cortijo is located on the outskirts of Mecina Bombarón, a traditional white village in the high Alpujarra. The house offers approximately 60 m² of living space and sits within around 7,000 m² of land planted mainly with almond trees.

Access to the property is straightforward via a concrete road followed by a short dirt track in good condition.

The House

The cortijo occupies an elevated corner of the land and enjoys open views along the valley, with the Mediterranean Sea visible in the far distance. A paved terrace in front of the house provides an ideal place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Inside, the entrance leads into the main living space.

To the right is a compact kitchen fitted with base and wall units, double stainless-steel sink and a freestanding cooker with extractor fan. A practical stone-built shelving unit with slate worktop separates the kitchen from the living and dining area.

The living room features a fitted window seat, ceiling fan and fireplace with wood-burning stove, as well as built-in storage for firewood.

The house also includes:

  • Two double bedrooms

  • A small open area currently used as an additional sleeping space with bunk beds, suitable as a study or hobby room

  • Tiled bathroom with corner shower, WC and washbasin

Outside there are two additional outbuildings used for storage.

Land & Setting

The surrounding land is planted primarily with almond trees and gently slopes in places, offering the possibility to cultivate sections for vegetables or other crops.

The property benefits from mains electricity and water rights.
